Carignane Testa Vineyards Mendocino County The Testa family has established and owned the Testa Vineyards for 3 generations. The grapes for this cuvee are among the oldest on the ranch. Carignane is an ancient varietal grown throughout the Mediterranean. This Carignane is a dry table wine with a structure similar to Syrah but without Syrah's big fruitiness. This wine has the remarkable ability to pair with most foods, especially what is loosely called “California Cuisine” empathizing fresh ingredients grilled or braised without a lot of sauces.
